[Event] Ch.2 – Bunny On The Run

Continued from... (Ch.1 Hunt for the Invisible Dragon Wing!)

Chapter 2 – Bunny On The Run

Many answered his call for help and the Easter Bunny was touched by the warmth of the adventurers in Lagendia. He ventured forth, determined to bring hope and joy to the children of Lagendia, as a show of appreciation for what everyone had done.

He travelled for days, keeping to safe paths frequently used by adventurers. Stories from the Elders spoke of evil monsters running loose in Lagendia, creatures of darkness who haunt the land while the Goddess slumbered. Occasionally, hair-raising screams of monsters would echo in the skies, a stark reminder of the perils facing this once peaceful world.
The Easter Bunny reached an old beaten path, his eyes resting on an old tattered sign which read “Grey Ruins”. The place sounded so drab, its name adding an air of despair around it. Perhaps he could bring joy to the children here. They would definitely need it.
He ventured further into the bleak land. A faint rustle in the bushes startled him and maniacal laughter soon rang vibrations in the still air. The Easter Bunny stood frozen in fright, as 4 dark menacing figures swaggered towards him. They looked like normal adventurers of Lagendia, save for the evil aura permeating through their very pores.
Doppelgängers of a Cleric, Warrior, Sorceress and Archer surrounded the petite bunny, wicked smiles etched on their faces. Few ever crossed this path, and the four of them were bored out of their minds for someone to torture and bully. Now that the bunny had stepped onto their territory, there was to be no escape for him.
“What have we here?” the Warrior peered at the Easter Bunny with an evil glint in his eye. Snatching the backpack easily from the animal, he opened the bag and poured the contents onto the ground. His eyes widened at the sight of the Magic Gold Eggs.
“The eggs of immortality!” the Sorceress gasped.
“Erm….” the Easter Bunny cleared his throat and tried his best to keep his voice from shaking. “That is actually an item which prevents your HP from falling below 1 when consumed at the right time. The likes of you people do not need it!” The Easter Bunny quickly shoved the Magic Gold Eggs into his backpack, his eye desperately scanning for a way out, far away from this twisted bunch.
He saw a tiny opening between the doppelgangers and bolted as fast as he could but it wasn’t long before a kaleidoscope of spells darted his way. A Black Hole ensnared him and a Stunning Shock battered his little body. His consciousness was hanging by a mere thread as he fought to stay awake as the 4 doppelgängers crowded around him and murmured a strange spell, enslaving him to the Chaos Dimension for all eternity.

The Easter Bunny raged against his imprisonment in vain. He was trapped, sentenced to guard the Chaos Dimension until the end of time. He swore revenge against the 4 doppelgängers who had so cruelly changed his fate, sealing away his power of speech and his freedom.
Now, he waits patiently for the true adventurers of Lagendia, heroes who will defeat evil and are worthy of the true power of the Magic Golden Eggs.

...and that was how the Easter Bunny became the Dimensional Rabbit. Keep an eye out for him at the end of an Abyss run as he rewards true adventurers for their bravery and courage!

[Event] Ch.1 Hunt for the Invisible Dragon Wing!

Chapter 1 – Fated Journey
Innocent eyes roamed the lush greenery around him. The wind picked up the sweet aroma of flowers around him, the scent reminiscent of his home.

Home. His home. A twang of pain tugged at his heart. He missed his home dearly, but it was a journey he had to make. Every year around this time, his people had to make a journey around the Alcheringa to deliver joy in the form of chocolate eggs to the children. This year, his mission was to travel to Lagendia, a land he was familiar with only through tales from the Elders. The land of hope and peace in the past but now shaken by monsters and a sense of impending doom.
The Easter Bunny shifted his backpack against his slight furry frame. His loot this year was unlike the rest – Magic Gold Eggs and an Invisible Dragon Wing. No chocolate eggs for the children of Lagendia it seemed. With darkness tearing at the land, the little ones needed something more powerful to give them hope.
As he walked on, the Easter Bunny reached for his backpack in a subconsciously protective gesture. His little furry paw brushed worn-out canvas, a dark hole forming at the right side of it. Wait… what? A hole?
With a gasp, he swung his backpack to the front and came face to face with his worst fears. His backpack had torn through at the right side, a hole as big as his fist mocking him. The Easter Bunny’s heart hammered wildly as he unzipped the bag to ensure the contents within was safe. The Magic Gold Eggs were all accounted for and he heaved a sigh of relief. He rummaged further and his heart skipped a beat.
WHERE WAS THE INVISIBLE DRAGON WINGS?!!
The Easter Bunny broke out in cold sweat, his heart now in a wild thumping frenzy. Did he drop it somewhere? He couldn’t remember, and it was a long, long road to backtrack. Oh, the poor children of Lagendia, they would have no hope this Easter! And the Elders would absolutely make rabbit stew out of him! He had to find the Invisible Dragon Wings somehow!
