Enchancement Probability?

Weapon and Armor Enhancement is a must in Dragon Nest. In fact, there aren’t any sure guides or techniques about enhancing. It is easy to enhance a weapon or armor from +1 to +6, you will only need to provide materials for the enhancement. If you want to enhance your weapons or armors from +7 onward, you will encounter failures and losses of the gears you want enhanced. Although some experienced players have their own opinions about enhancements and have tried several times, they may not apply to all players. Make sure that this is only for reference.

Weapon and Armor Enhancement Guide
Lets start off with where to enhance weapons and armor. Crafting in Dragon Nest is done with the help of an NPC, either a Blacksmith or a Crest Scholar. Unlike most games, there are no crafting professions, and no leveling. If you have the right materials you take them to the NPC and make the item.
Things you need before enhancement:
  • Gems
Different classes require different gems. You can get these gems from instances, quests, and decomposing gears. High level gems can be decomposed to low level gems, and low level gems can composed to high level gems.
  • Weapons and Armors – Gears which are sent by the system cannot be enhanced
  • Have enough money – Enhancing requires a certain amount of money

Item to +15

Things to notice while enhancing:
  • Level 1 to 10 gears need to use agates piece, level 15 to level 24 gears need to use secondary agates, much higher level need to use higher level gems.
  • From +6 to +7, we need to add other gems to go on crafting, for example, archers need to use sapphire.
  • High level gears need to use more money than low level gears.
  • If we want to enhance more than B level gears, we need to break its seal first.
  • After +7, the gear will have a glow.

Tips on Refining Weaponss and Armors:
  • Make sure to go to a channel with the least amount of population
  • Make sure to do this at night when most players are asleep
  • Get your 32B or A weapon ready, also 2 23 or 31 C or D grade weapons, the cheapest ones you can find
  • Upgrade your 32B or A weapon to 5, then put in the C or D weapon in and upgrade till 5 and then till it fails, Then replace that weapon with your 32B or A weapon and upgrade to 6
  • Do the same thing, replace with the C or D weapon and upgrade until 6 and then till it fails,
then replace with 32B or A and upgrade to 7
  • Now we are going to try and go for 8, replace with the C or D weapon, refine it til it breaks,
and then place in the 2nd C or D weapon and refine it til it breaks, after both weapon has been broken, replace with 32B or A and refine to 8
By following this guide you have a 99% chance on getting your gears to +8. The reason why level 23 C or D weapon is because the refine stones are different, and its cheaper. This might be a little time consuming but it is worth it.
